Alberta Electorial Boundries
The Alberta Electoral Boundaries Commission released an initial report with proposed changes on October 27, 2025.
- Written responses from the public will be accepted until December 19, 2025.
- Public Meetings will be held in January 2026
- Final report to legislature expected by the end of March 2026
- For Acadia, the proposed changes shift our boundaries south. Some northern properties join a new area, and we gain Lake Bonavista

Who will be the next UCP MLA/Nominee for Calgary Acadia?
- New boundaries expected to be finalized in Spring 2026
- Nominations expected to be open prior to October 2026
- Active members get to vote for their preferred UCP Nominee
- Next provincial election expected October 2027
UCP Provincial AGM
November 28 – November 30, 2025

Our policy & governance team has been very busy hearing from our members. We have sponsored and co-sponsored many submissions and represented our local members at the provincial AGM. Some of the concerns raised on your behalf include
- Provincial and local CA Board Directors and Officers must disclose other political party or foreign public interest prior to a vote for their election occuring
- Adoption of the recommendations within the Alberta Pandemic Data Review Task Force Report
- Declaring places of worship and their outreach as an essential service
- End community water flouridation
- Ensure provincially elected officials also swear an oath to serve Alberta
The updated bylaws, governance and policy documents should be published shortly.

Membership is $10 for 1 year, or $25 for 3 years!
Dontations
| Donations can be made to the UCP party or directly to the local CA. Donations to the Acadia CA stay in our community and help with local election costs and community engagement events.In 2025, we hosted several member and friend socials and co-sponsored the annual Calgary South UCP Stampede Breakfast. Your donations make this possible. And for the first $200 per year, you could get a $150 tax credit. |
